The Pyramids of Amsterdam, Netherlands!
There is no need to go to Egypt to see pyramids, you can find some right here, in Amsterdam!
The 55m high buildings known locally as De Pyramides are situated on the Marcanti Eiland in front of the De Marktkantine. They were designed by Sjoerd Soeters and Jos van Eldonk of Soeters Van Eldonk Architects and completed in 2006. The building complex has 82 apartments divided into 2 towers and each tower has its own lift. These are residential buildings, meaning there are people out there who can honestly say that their home is inside a pyramid.
