Man performs Heimlich manoeuvre to save boy from choking in China
A man performed the Heimlich manoeuvre to save a boy from choking on food in northern China.
CCTV footage filmed in the city of Baoding in Hebei Province on August 2 shows a mother holding her son to pinch his philtrum as she thought he had a fever.
A man who was a shop owner sweeping the floor beside them thought the boy did not have a fever but was choking on food.
So the man performed abdominal thrusts on the boy to get him to cough up the food.
Thanks to the man, the boy was alright.
