Major flash flooding strands visitors in Death Valley National Park
Major flash flooding washed out roads and stranded visitors in Death Valley National Park this morning. Mud slides and debris flows forced the closure of Highway 190 through the park. Approximately two dozen vehicles were trapped in rock debris at the Inn and Death Valley near the junction of Highway 190 and Badwater Road.
