A forensic team was seen working along a bridge in Greenwich following a shooting of man by police, reportedly carrying a firearm taped to his hand, on the afternoon of August 5th.

Police were called to Creek Road just after 2.30pm, when the armed suspect was shot by armed officers some time after.
The injured man was treated at the scene by paramedics and airlifted to hospital - where his condition is unknown, and the incident was not believed to be terror related.

The area was cordoned off whilst police gathered evidence, which was taken away in brown boxes and bags.

A jogger attempted to run through the cordon after ducking under police tape and was swiftly apprehended by officers who hand-cuffed him, though he was released shortly after.
