A Russian man named Sergei Novikov marries his Ukrainian partner, Elona Bramoka, amid an ongoing war between their countries of origin.

The couple celebrated their union with a traditional Hindu ceremony in a temple located in Dharmshala, Himachal Pradesh, on August 2.

The footage features images of the bride wearing a red and gold Indian dress, Hindu rituals, and the priest reciting mantras. Locals who attended the ceremony can be seen dancing with the bride.

Novikov and Bramoka have been living in Dharamshala for the past year and have been together since 2020.
