NHS SCOTLAND STAFF PROTEST OVER 4% PAY RISE, CITY OF EDINBURGH, SCOTLAND

NHS staff and unions held a protest outside of Scottish Parliament Building calling for at 15% pay increase to their salaries after losing nearly 40% over the past decade. Both police and teachers earn around £40,000 where as an NHS member only earns around £30,000 .

Protesters call the 4% an insult and unfair and call for First Minster of Scotland, Nicola Sturgeon (SNP) to instate the 15% pay increase citing inflation and cost of living being key factors.
