As a delicate ceasefire holds between Israel and Palestinian militants, some in Gaza most affected by the violence are returning to their homes and picking up the pieces.

The Al-Amour family returned to their home in the Al-Fukhari neighborhood, east of Khan Yunis, the city in the southern Gaza Strip, the same place where Dunya Adnan Al-Amour was killed. Local media says the home was hit by a rocket-propelled grenade.

Dunya, 23 according to information gathered by Newsflare's filmer, was sitting in her room reading the Quran and sipping a cup of tea, while her mother was sitting in the opposite room preparing food for her children.

According to Associated Press, Israel estimated a total of 47 Palestinians were killed, including 14 killed by misfired Islamic Jihad rockets. It said that 20 fighters and seven civilians died in Israeli airstrikes.

Donya was studying fine arts at the university and those who know her say she had a great talent for drawing and that she left behind many pictures full of life.
