When a great artist recreates something old, they turn it into a diamond!

In this amazing video, Ioana Pioaru creates an unusual drawing of houses on a street in Bucharest from the year 2009.

The interesting thing is that these homes are no longer there because they were destroyed to make room for the street's expansion and the city's ever-increasing traffic flow.

Ioana uses an ink pen and beautifully lines the houses to give off the appearance of a housing society, and then complements this masterpiece by adding clouds to it.

“These are a series of ink drawings of a segment of a street in Bucharest as it looked around 2009,” said Ioana. “The drawings are part of a collection of artworks on the theme of architecture, which seek to give tangible form to memory.”
