"Runt of the litter" and "squealing like a stuck pig" are two common phrases that could be applied to this clip. Eleven black piglets fight to suckle from their very patient mother in this clip filmed at the Royal Welsh Agricultural Show in Builth Wells, Wales, UK.

One determined piglet gets kicked out of the bottom of the pile and clambers around to the top to start all over again. The sow grunts in the heat of one of the hottest days of the summer, thankful for the shade of the canopy that is just out of shot.

Notes for editors:

The Royal Welsh Show (Welsh: Sioe Frenhinol Cymru) is organised by the Royal Welsh Agricultural Society, and takes place every July at Llanelwedd, near Builth Wells, in Powys, Mid Wales, UK. First held in 1904, the Show attracts some 200,000 visitors each year, boosting tourism in Wales. The four-day event includes sheepdog trials, wood-chopping competitions and sheep-shearinf contests.
