A video doorbell captured the moment a 'drunk' man tried to get into the wrong house - before sheepishly retreating when he realises it's not his home. The footage was captured by Jessica Catanesi, 26, on her 'Ring' doorbell - which allows users to record visitors at their front door. The man can be seen trying the door handle a few times before suddenly exclaiming 'oh my god, is this the wrong house,' and running away. Home alone with her children, Jessica initially thought something more sinister might be at play. Jessica, a stay-at-home mum, from El Paso, Texas, US, said: "I was worried someone was breaking in. "A notification popped up on my phone, and I just saw a man I'd never seen before stood at my door trying the handle." Thankfully, despite being a bit confused, Jessica's worries disappeared when she quickly realised it was a case of mistaken identity. It later transpired that the man was on his way to a party in the area and had simply got the wrong house. The mum-of-two then posted the bizarre encounter to her 60,000 TikTok followers where it quickly racked up over 10.5 million views. Jessica has since confirmed that the man has seen the video and had a chuckle at his own expense. She said: "I spoke to him and he found the video hilarious. If he wasn't comfortable with it, I would have removed it." The video was shot on the 29th of July.
