Adding to the summer temperatures, the hot spring dedicated to the Roman goddess Minerva pours out steaming hot water, with the warm vapours clearly visible, in this clip filmed at the Roman Baths in Bath, England.
Notes For Editors:
The hot springs of Aquae Sulis were used by the Romans from 50-60CE until the end of Roman rule in Britain in the 5th Century CE. The sulpuours waters gush and steam non-stop every day of the year, in the restored ruins that draw 1.3 million tourists per year.
