A dog returned home after going missing for almost a year in eastern China.

Video filmed in the city of Fuyang in Anhui Province on August 6 shows a missing dog running back home after 10 months.

After the owner saw the dog, she carried it to the middle of the yard and talked to it.

According to a man named Wang, he and his elder sister were away for their studies and the 4-year-old poodle named Sprite accompanied their mother for more than two years before it went missing.

Wang told Anhui Television that his mother was very excited when she saw Sprite had come back home.
