PERRIS, CA - Cal Fire responded to reports of a gunshot wound victim. Arriving crews located one victim deceased at the scene, shot an unknown number of times and two other victims who were transported to local hospitals with non life-threatening injuries. Per Riverside County Sheriff's Department Media Bureau there was a shooting at a large gathering with numerous people inside of a residence on Pyramid Trail near Pillar Ct. The scene is still very active and its unknown at this time if there was a party taking place at the home or a meeting. The cause of the shooting is unknown at this point and information on possible suspects is unknown. A witness on scene stated that one of his family members were shot and found at the intersection of Pyramid and Saddleback. He also stated that the house where the shooting took place is at this intersection. Per calfire radio traffic one of the two wounded in the shooting was a female that was shot in the back, another party self transported to Menifee Hospital.
