Glass door shatters due to high temperature in central China
A tempered glass door shattered due to the high temperature in central China.
Video filmed in the city of Yichang in Hubei Province on August 11 shows a tempered glass door suddenly shattering, scaring two men sitting on a sofa next to it.
According to an employee named Liu in the shop, the air-conditioner was on inside the shop, so the incident may have been caused by the temperature difference between indoors and outdoors.
Yichang Meteorological Observatory has issued a red warning signal (the strongest level) for the heat. The highest temperature reached 41 degrees Celsius.
The video was provided by local media with permission.
