Hidden treasures from the past discovered during works at the Marx Dormoy metro subway station Earthenware, maps. On social networks, Internet users share their discoveries.
Original earthenware, old posters... Lately, stopping at Marx Dormoy station has been like traveling back in time. For good reason, this station on line 12 of the Paris metro has been under construction since August 1 (without being closed, however). And, to renovate it, the old had to be removed to make way for the new.
Operations to remove the typical 1960s bodywork that adorned the station were therefore undertaken, revealing many hidden treasures. (Video from 16 aug 2022).
