Footage shows aquariums rattling during an earthquake in the Philippines on Monday afternoon.

The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the shallow earthquake rattled Davao del Sur province in the south of the country.

Officials reported that the quake struck at 4:23 p.m. local time with at a depth of six kilometers, around 11 kilometers northwest of Magsaysay town.

On July 27, a powerful magnitude 7 earthquake rattled the main Luzon island in the Philippines, killing 10 people and injuring 394 others.

The Philippines is an archipelago of more than 7,000 islands inside the Pacific 'Ring of Fire' where the majority of Earth's volcano eruptions and earthquakes happen.
