Footage shows the feline gashing his claws on the window screen in Yangon on July 27.
The black and white moggie's owner would then open the door and let the pet inside the house after making noise.
Pet owner Catherine Tun said: ‘It's okay if my cat did that during the daytime but at night, the sound was scary. My cat never wanted to sleep outside. He comes home after wandering the neighbourhood.'
