Cargo truck flips onto its side 'after driver falls asleep' on Thai highway
A cargo truck flipped over onto its side after its driver allegedly nodded off at the wheel.
Dashcam footage shows the vehicle coasting along the highway in Lampang province on July 28. As it was turning a curve, however, it appeared to lose control, stumbling on the roadside before toppling over.
Phumphat Thanapanya, a motorist driving behind the truck, said: 'The driver fell asleep. I'm surprised he managed to survive such an accident.
'If I were driving any faster, I believe the outcome would have been very different.'
