A man rammed a car into a Valentino store in Paris on the high-end Rue Saint-Honore at around 2 am on Tuesday (August 16) and stole luxury handbags and items. Footage filmed on the same day shows the damage.

After smashing his car, the man jumped into the Seine river and was found by the police. He was arrested.

The Paris prosecutors said that the suspect faces charges of aggravated robbery and refusal to comply with police.

A Valentino store was victim of a car-ramming attack overnight from Monday to Tuesday 16 august in Paris. The bandit plunged in the Seine river trying to lose the police.
Around 1:50 a.m., at 273 rue Saint-Honoré in the 8th arrondissement, a blue vehicle drove into the storefront several times. The glass entrance doors shattered under the impact. During the burglary, the man managed to seize several items from the store before fleeing in a vehicle, being chasing and saved by the police after having jump in the Seine river.
