Jeremy Corbyn addresses Budget Day anti-austerity protest

The Labour leadership candidate Jeremy Corbyn spoke to the anti-austerity protesters, who gathered in Parliament Square after more Government’s cuts to the welfare system had been announced in George Osborne’s emergency budget.
Called by the People’s Assembly Against Austerity coalition, the 'Austerity Kills' event took place without Westminster Council's permission. The laws limiting protests near Parliament ban the use of amplification, which meant Mr Corbyn had to shout above the traffic noise.
