Pilot's POV landing at world's most dangerous airport, Nepal's Lukla

Buy video

This is what landing at the world's most dangerous airport looks like from a pilot's point of view.

Footage captured in April 2016 shows what the pilot sees as the plane comes to land on the short 1,729-foot runway.

The airport is 9,337 feet above sea level and is surrounded by mountainous territory.

At the end of the runway is a steep 2,000-foot drop down into a mountainous valley, leaving little room for mistakes.
