Hero passerby jumps into canal to save drowning youngster
This is the dramatic moment a brave passerby leapt into a canal to save a drowning boy in Thailand.
Sunma Madnak had just arrived home when she spotted the youngster struggling in the dirty water in Nonthaburi on November 8, 2021.
Her 61-year-old father raced to the canal and jumped into the water without hesitation.
In the video, the elderly man carried the child and guided her up the ladder to safety.
Sunma said: 'We believe the kid must be from the same neighborhood. The girl is very lucky that we happened to be around the area when it happened.'
'My father didn't even think twice when he saw the girl. He is a real hero.'
