More than 3,000 followers of the Family Federation for World Peace and Unification, formerly known as Unification Church, rallied in Seoul on Thursday, August 18 to protest against what they call biased Japanese media reports of the religious group.

The protest came amid criticism after the man who killed former Japanese Prime Minster Shinzo Abe said he held a grudge against the church as his mother made huge donations to the group ruining his family.
