Delighted students play with inventions at fun science fair in Bangkok
Delighted students played with inventions at a fun science fair in Thailand.
Footage shows the youngsters using different machines at the interactive booths of the National Science and Technology Fair in Bangkok on August 18.
They were treated to a variety of virtual reality games that were specifically designed to improve mental health and experience travelling. All of the VR booths were guided.
Other booths displayed environmental innovations to reduce plastic and chemical waste and a ping-pong sports robot which was a hit even with teachers and mall-goers.
The Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research, and Innovation minister Anek Laothamatas said the event aims to teach the youth about the practical uses of science.
He said: ‘We have organised the fair for young people to learn about the use of scientific knowledge in their lives.'
The five-day National Science and Technology Fair 2022 was held at Samyan Mitrtown from August 17 to 21.
