This is the scary CCTV moment a mobile phone battery exploded in Balaghat, India on August 16 when a customer had brought it in to the repair shop.

The Bunty Mobiles repair shop was trying to open the phone when the Chinese-made device's battery loosened and suddenly exploded, leaving the panicked shopkeeper Bunty Lihare to toss the fiery phone out of his shop like a live grenade.

Lihare tells media that the battery was swollen and cautions mobile users to be aware of the problem and have it checked immediately.

A spine chilling cctv footage of a Chinese mobile phone’s battery exploded and turns into flames has emereged from Balaghat district of Madhya Pradesh . The incident happened on 16th August at a mobile reapir shop named Bunty Mobiles situated in Kanki village . beginning of the video shows Bunty talking to customer and trying to open the back cover of the mobile for repairing , as soon as the battery cover got loose , its exploded and turned into a big fire ball . Shopkeeper quickly responded and throws the burning mobile outside his shop .
Shopowner Bunty Lilhare explaining the whole incident tells he receives minor injury on his hands while he was throwing the mobile outside of his shop. Bunty further tells that the customer came to him with the bloated mobile battery and as soon as he opens , it got exploded . Bunty gave a warning to mobile users saying that if the mobile battery get swollen it should be checked at a mobile repair shop immediately to avoid any mishap
