Cars race through muddy water as Japan is hit by torrential rain and flooding
A low-pressure system brought torrential rain and flooding over the wide area of Japan, including Hokuriku, Chugoku, and Kinki regions, on Saturday 20 August.
Japan's Meteorological Agency warned of heavy rains through Sunday across the country's eastern and western areas.
Video shot in Odanaka in Tsuyama, Okayama, showed vehicles trying to drive through sometimes deep, muddy water flooding the road.
