A heartbroken Thai singer claims she was ghosted by her online boyfriend after flying to London to meet him for the first time.

Bambi Pachimsawat, 29, waited three hours at Heathrow Airport but no British lover showed up on July 16.

Instead, the pretty former Miss Thailand's daughter received a message from her mystery online boyfriend saying he could not meet her ‘because he was already sleepy'.

It later emerged the Brit hunk she hoped for was actually staying in Germany.

The young singer said: ‘This trip to London will forever be in my memory. I arrived at night and waited at the immigration for almost three hours but he only sent me his location on Google Maps.'

Hopeful to meet what she hoped would be the love of her life, Bambi followed his map instructions and roamed through the unfamiliar streets while dragging her 32kg luggage.

She said: ‘He told me he was sleepy and will go to bed. It was very late and the streets were empty. I was carrying 32 kgs luggage with me so it wasn't easy.'

However, when she arrived at the property, she claimed an angry resident, who wasn't her boyfriend, told her to go away because he thought she was a thief.

The heartbroken woman said: ‘I couldn't find the room and I went on knocking on the wrong houses. The owners almost shot me because they thought I was a thief.'

Realising that the online beau had stood her up, Bambi burst in tears on the streets until a kind local offered her help.

She said: ‘I was fortunate enough to be able to contact a friend of a friend in England to get a bed to sleep on at night.'

After her once most awaited date turned into a nightmare, Bambi went on sight-seeing trips around London before meeting the man. However, their long-distance romance did not work out when they met and she broke up with him shortly after. She booked a flight to return to Bangkok, where she was greeted by her mother at the airport.

Bambi did not explain why they broke up but said she had 'enjoyed her holiday' even though she lost a boyfriend.

She said: ‘I lost a boyfriend, and that is okay. I have my mother, and that's the most important.'
