Jellyfish and a dog in a Cornish Harbour with swimmers
Swimmers and other water users, including a dog, were intrigued by the appearance of a Compass jellyfish in the inner harbour at Penzance. A regular visitor to UK shores, this jellyfish can give nasty stings, but is entirely harmless if left alone.
The dog, named River, joined in the seaside fun along with locals and holidaymakers as people continued jumping into the water.
