Chemical material of Tianjin blasts found reacting with water

Footage has emerged from China of a kind of white material reacting with water on the ground near the explosion site in Tianjin.

In the footage, captured under a bridge 100 metres away from the site, dense bubbles and flames can be seen coming up as soon as being mixed with water.

According to news reports, around 700 tons of sodium cyanide and unstated amount of other kinds of toxic chemical materials were stored within the exploring area.
