People walk along the central service of the Eurotunnel after a train broke down on August 23 affecting the 3.50pm Le Shuttle service from Calais to Folkestone.

The passengers were evacuated from their vehicles and were stranded underground for hours. They walked alongside the 31-mile rail route between Britain and France.

The footage shows people walking with their suitcases alongside the emergency tunnel, families carrying children, and dogs with their owners.

The person who captured this video said: "We were stuck roughly from 4 pm to 7.30 pm".

Finally, after several hours, the passengers were transferred to another train. They were taken to the Folkestone terminal in Kent.
