A crowd of pedestrians watched on as a bus driver and a motorist got into a fight on a road in Volgograd, southern Russia.

Footage captured on August 17 shows a white car stopping on Krasnoznamenskaya Street preventing the bus from performing a U-turn.

Once the motorist returned to his car, he and the 46-year-old bus driver got into a verbal conflict

The conflict then escalated to a physical one after the motorist struck the bus driver with a bat.

The pair then continued fighting in the middle of the road. They were later handed over to the police.

The 28-year-old driver stopped his Toyota Camry car on Krasnoznamenskaya Street (tram ring), which created an obstacle for a U-turn and public transport.

The 46-year-old trolleybus driver, unable to continue moving, in order to attract the attention of the driver of a foreign car and activate the alarm, made several kicks on the wheels of the car. After that, a verbal conflict occurred between the men, using foul language from both sides. The driver of the foreign car at the same time armed himself with a bat and inflicted several blows on the body of the opponent.

Both participants in the road conflict subsequently turned to the police with statements on the fact of their injuries.

For the committed violation of traffic rules (violation of the rules for stopping or parking vehicles on the roadway) in relation to the driver of a foreign car, the traffic police drew up an administrative protocol.
