Timelapse drive through new road in Leeds,West Yorkshire
Take a drive along a new road that opened in Leeds earlier this week. The East Leeds Outer Ring Road or (ELOR) opened to the public on Monday 22nd August after work began in January 2020. The 50mph dual carriageway is 7.5km long with numerous footbridges & roundabouts. The road runs between The Springs retail park at Colton and the existing A6120 near Roundhay in Leeds. The 2 & half year project cost around £126m to build by Balfour Beatty, contractors for Leeds City Council.. The road is expected to ease congestion through nearby Crossgates & Seacroft
