River bursts its banks amid severe floods in Pakistan
Footage shows a swollen river overflowing onto nearby roads amid severe floods in Pakistan.
The video was recorded in the Malakand division of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on Wednesday afternoon August 24.
Pakistan has been hit by severe flooding since June, triggered by unusually heavy monsoon rains that have led to a humanitarian crisis.
More than 2,500 miles of roads have been destroyed along with tens of thousands of homes damaged. Officials said at least 129 bridges have been washed away as a result of the ongoing monsoon.
