Notting Hill Carnival preparations underway as businesses are boarded up ahead of 2 million people expected over the Bank Holiday Weekend.
Buinesses and homes are boarded up ahead of the Notting Hill Carnival, set to return to the area after a two-year absence.
Two million revellers are expected to line the streets for Europe's largest street event - and the second largest carnival in the world.
In this footage, filmed on the 25th August, boards can be seen fitted over various shop windows and garden walls along the parade route, attracting street artists who cover them in colourful designs.
Temporary toilet facilites have also been installed in many of the side streets.
