Carnival ready! North Kensington residents gather to dance ahead of Notting Hill Bank Holiday extravaganza
North Kensington residents came together for a community carnival event as part of the Kensington and Chelsea Festival (August 25) ahead of the famous August Bank Holiday Weekend's event that is expected to draw in two million revellers to the area.
The heavy rain didn't put a dampener on the day, as performers played steel drums for guests who also enjoyed a range of activities, including facepainting and lots of dancing, alongside people dressed in brightly coloured carnival costume.
