A Wild snake was seen slithering through a family's kitchen before disappearing through the window.

Footage shows the 6ft-long reptile stretch out among the pots and pans on the sink in Sukothai province, Thailand, on August 25.

The snake found a small hole in the window which it used to enter the room and later escape upon being caught.



Resident Jaja Piyanut said she was cooking rice when the creature suddenly entered through the hole.

Jaja said: ‘I was cleaning the rice pot when the snake appeared. I was so scared. It was early in the morning and I didn't know what to do.'

The creature, believed to be a copperhead rat snake, eventually left on its own while the family had their window fixed to prevent any more reptiles from making an unwelcome entry.
