This sweet old married couple ride a modified motorcycle together to work every day in Thailand.

Rung Kunakul, 59, drives the three-wheeled contraption he built himself while accompanied by his wife Ead Khetnimon, 77, as they peddle their lawn mowing services to locals in Chonburi province.

The unique vehicle consists of a motorcycle with its handlebar detached and replaced with a cart where Ead sits on a white plastic chair. The cart also serves as a storage area for their lawn mower and other supplies while roaming the province.

Rung and Ead have been married for 26 years. Despite not having permanent jobs, the pair enjoy driving around town together, offering their grass-cutting services to residents.

They have been able to eke out a humble living while also finding a way to spend precious time together in their autumn years.

Rung said: ‘I met my wife in Chumphon province when I was looking for a job. My wife is 18 years older than me but the age gap has never been an issue.

‘We both became old and my wife can no longer work. So she cooks for me and gives me company while I work and try to make a living for the both of us. The tricycle is the only thing we have.

‘Even when both our lives become difficult and nobody would be willing to hire us, we will not give up and will continue to find ways to earn. We will earn by working and not begging people for money.'
