Businesses boarded up on eve of London's Notting Hill Carnival
Hundreds of shops and homes are being boarded up ahead of the Notting Hill Carnival which kicks off tomorrow (Sunday) with family day.
This year will be the first carnival since the Covid-19 pandemic.
More than one million people are expected to descend on Notting Hill, one of London’s wealthiest neighbourhoods, across Sunday and Monday.
Workers said they will be working through the night with one contracted to board up to a hundred properties.
