Woman stranded in floods plays in water with her pet dog while feeding fish
This is the sweet moment a stricken resident and her pet dog played in flash floods - gleefully feeding wild fish swimming around their home.
Footage shows the pet lover sitting in a hammock while throwing snacks for her pooch as the fish snapped them up following days of heavy rain that had submerged homes in Rayong province, Thailand, on August 25.
Pet owner Sunee Not said the nearby river burst its banks and flowed into their village. The fish then began swimming around the submerged streets.
Sunee said: ‘The fish went near our homes so I thought we'd play instead of worrying about the flood. My dog enjoyed it.'
Thailand experienced widespread flooding last week that covered 20,800 hectares of land in the northeastern region with more than 11,000 hectares of rice fields affected.
Thailand and other countries in Southeast Asia, such as Malaysia, Indonesia and the Philippines, are in the middle of their tropical monsoon rainy season, which lasts until October or November
