This is the scary moment a loose tarpaulin sheet blew from a pickup truck onto the car travelling behind.

Ja Monsicha was driving to work behind the vehicle when the accident unfolded in Samut Sakhon province, Thailand on August 26.

Dashcam footage shows how the truck sped up, causing the blue-coloured canvas cover to fly off and hit Monsicha's windshield.

The terrified woman tried her best to control her car by changing the motor's rear light signal and looking through the side and the rear window.

She said: ‘I was scared because I couldn't see anything. I'm lucky enough to have survived such a busy road but my car hit other cars before I could park safely because I couldn't see anything.'

Monsicha said she has already filed a complaint to the police and will discuss with the pickup owner whether the insurance company or the driver will be taking care of the damage costs.
