Footage of a male participant in the the World Gravy Championships having his underwear ripped off mid-fight. He scampered away, giving a cheeky view to the hundreds of spectators.
The contest took place today (August 29) in Stacksteads near Bacup, Lancashire, UK. The bizarre contest took a two year break due to coronavirus restrictions. Hundreds of spectators watched as dozens of contestants, many in fancy dress, took part in various heats. Local firefighters were on hand to hose contestants down after being immersed in the gravy.
