The Palestinian Abu Salah Sharab, in the Gaza Strip, preserves the profession of his fathers and grandfathers by continuing to work in a clay oven that works on wood, in light of the constant gas and electricity cuts, which contributes to an increase in demand for it, in addition to giving food a flavor different from that which depends on natural gas.

The return of these wood-burning ovens was warmly welcomed by the people of Gaza, who find in them some relief from their suffering, which reduces their dependence on the electricity that cuts off most of the day for baking bread and food.
