This talented Thai policeman serenaded shoppers for charity donations in a mall in Thailand.

The high-ranking officer, Police Lieutenant Colonel Weera Nuchsilp, was filmed strumming his guitar outside a gold shop in Ayutthaya province on June 20.

Mall-goers impressed by his voice rushed over to drop contributions into his guitar case, which was already half-filled with banknotes.

Onlooker Apichet Jitherm said: 'He sings so he could buy helmets and give them out for free.'

The policeman was collecting money to be donated to the local Buddhist temple to carry out repair work.
