Japan: Winds Pick Up In Okinawa As Typhoon Hinnamnor Approaches 2
Typhoon Hinnamnor (No. 11) was approaching off the coast of Minami Daitojima, southeast of Okinawa Prefecture on Wednesday morning, August 31.
The Japan Meteorological Agency has warned the typhoon could hit the country's southwestern islands with powerful gusts, high waves, mudslides, flooding of low-lying areas, and swollen rivers.
