A snake that was precariously trapped in a hole on a rusty pipe, was rescued in central India's Chhattisgarh.

The incident happened at a garden near Niharika Subhash Chowk in Korba district on August 31.

Visuals showed the snake painfully trapped in the hole of the rusty pipe. It probably had entered the pipe from one end and tried to come out from the hole when it got trapped. According to a report, some children, who were playing in the area, spotted the reptile and they tried to save it.

But the snake understandably was in pain, having been trapped in that manner and tried to attack the children when they came to its rescue. Eventually, snake catcher, Jitendra Sarathi was informed and he reached the spot.

Sarathi tried to tame the attacking snake by grabbing hold of its mouth and very calmly, proceeded to pull it out of the hole. After saving the animal, he was also seen checking its body for any possible injuries.

He did it in a manner that the reptile didn't get hurt. Eventually, after a while, he was successful in doing so, much to the joy of everyone present at the spot.
