The powerful reunion takes place during the coin toss for Elijah's football game. He gives Orlando a hug while trying his best not to get too excited and to stay focused on the game ahead.

"Orlando left in July with a projected return date in December," Erica said. "We drove from Fort Leonardwood, Missouri to Indianapolis, Indiana to catch Elijah's last few games in a tournament he had. Elijah roomed with his coach who was in on the surprise.

"I contacted the league putting on the tournament and they put together an unforgettable reunion."
