Hundreds turn out for foamy fun as artist unleashes cascading coloured rainbow in London's Greenwich

German artist Stephanie Lüning premiered performance piece 'Island of Foam: Version XVIII' close to London's 02 Centre in North Greenwich today (September 3).

Colours mixed by the artist (who is the person in the footage wearing white overalls), was turned into rainbow-hued foam that cascaded down the stairs, creating a colourful spectacle for the crowd.

As soon as it reach the base of the stairs, children jumped into the foam, delighted to be playing in the rainbow playground.

The immersive art piece is part of the Greenwich and Docklands, International Festival (GDIF), an annual festival of performing arts and outdoor theatre.
