Thirteen tractors smuggling sand crashed through a toll gate in Agra, Uttar Pradesh, without paying.

CCTV captured on September 4 shows the vehicles loaded with sand smashing through the gate.

A local police officer said that illegal sand mining has been increasing in the area.

A shocking video shows as many as 12 sand-laden tractors, belonging to the sand mafia, breaking the barricades at a toll plaza in Agra in the state of Uttar Pradesh. The September 4 incident caught on CCTV shows the first tractor smashing through the boom barrier without paying the toll. It is followed by as many as 12 tractors all of which cross the toll gate within 52 seconds. A few toll workers used sticks to obstruct their path, but the vehicles broke through the barricade. Local police have registered a case and an officer said illegal sand mining has been rising in the area and the latest incident showed the audacity of the sand smugglers.
