A restaurant clerk fled the building as a 6.8-magnitude earthquake shook items off shelves on September 5.

Footage provided by Sichuan TV from Luding shows the employee sitting at a desk when the quake hit.

The intense tremor caused his computer monitor to fall down as well as dozens of items behind him to fall off the shelves.

Ms Zhou, the restaurant's owner, was not in the city at the time of the earthquake.

After the quake, Zhou retrieved this footage from her mobile phone.

At 12:52 on September 5, an earthquake with a magnitude of 6.8 occurred in Luding County, Ganzi Prefecture, Sichuan.

The monitoring of the opinion restaurant near the epicenter Hailuogou recorded the situation at the moment of the earthquake.

When the earthquake occurred, the front desk of the restaurant shook violently, the computer on the table was then dumped, and the drinks on the wine cabinet behind the clerk fell one after another.
