Firefighters use tree trunks to form bridge to transport injured people across river after earthquake strikes China
Firefighters used tree trunks to form a bridge to transport injured people across a river after a 6.8-magnitude earthquake struck southern China.
Video filmed in the county of Luding in Sichuan Province on September 5 shows firefighters carrying injured people across a river.
Due to the earthquake, houses collapsed, causing residents to get injured.
Since the bridge was washed away by the rapid river, firefighters used several tree trunks to form a bridge to transfer the injured people to a safer area.
All injured people have been sent to hospital for treatment.
The video was provided by local media with permission.
